In this discussion, we will explore what is happening in the GDPR’s shadow in the U.S. and the rest of the world: a new slate of FTC Commissioners, a different approach to privacy at the FCC, and a range of state-based privacy efforts such as the California Consumer Protection Act. What is in store for the future? What will be the role of the APEC nations? How will the regulatory landscape evolve over the next few years? What will the impact be of the new California Consumer Protection Act?
This session will explore the insights from the first session in greater detail in participant dialogue with leading policymakers.
